Description
Nist Control is proud to introduce the Smart Level Relay. We had the experience with building panels that we needed a lot of relays to do the functions the SLR can do. So, the idea is to assist with cost and space saving in an enclosure. This also brings down the complexity in the design and improves reliability.
The SLR relay has the following inputs
1) 4 x Float inputs ( 3 for level control and 1 for a high level alarm output.)
The explanation is with emptying.
The bottom 1st float is the STOP level.
The 2nd float is the 1st pump on level also with a FLIP-FLOP function.
3rd Float is to start both pumps.
4th Float is for the Alarm output. (This can be connected to a GSM unit or a Strope light etc.)
2) 2 x Connection for the temp probes from motor (Clicksons). If motor windings gets
to hot motor will be prevented from running and the other motor will take over.)
3) 2 x Seal monitor inputs from inside the motor. As soon as the mechanical starts to leak
the motor is prevented from running to minimize damage.
4) 2 x Auto/Manual switch inputs. In Manual the float switches are bypassed,
and in Auto the level control works as programmed.
Outputs:
1) 2 x Pump run outputs which are dry contacts(Relays) which can send the message for the pump to run. The relay can thus switch a contactor to run the pump motors. Normally closed and normally open contacts provided.
2)1 x Alarm output when level gets dangerously high a relay dry contact can be used to send a message via GSM or switch a siren etc.
Remember:
When temperature inputs are not used to bridge out the inputs.
And, when not using the Seal monitor inputs to leave them disconnected.
Specifications:
Power Supply: 220V OR 400V (Specify control voltage on order.)
5 Watt
3 x Relay outputs: 16A 250V
10 x Inputs 3.3Vdc pulled low to activate.
